Next stop: Yellowstone National Park, for another round of photography field trips and workshops, hikes to some of the park’s most spectacular natural wonders, craft improvement sessions for both photographers and writers, a multimedia presentation on polar bears, and the ever-popular sunrise photo shoot and photo and writing critiques.

RMOWP's block of rooms and cabins is being held until June 20, and you can cancel by August 8 and get your full deposit back. Karen can also reserve lodging for you in other areas of the park, before or after our conference.

A few conference highlights include:

Early morning photo trips with wildlife photographer Tom Ulrich, a longtime RMOWP member who will head to Yellowstone early to scout out the best photo locations for wildlife in particular, but not excluding a good scenic or flora shot. Each morning will be limited to 12 photographers - see the registration form for how we’re going to allocate the spots.

A pre-conference boat trip (limited to the first 30 registrants) on Lake Yellowstone for a unique perspective of the park's famed scenery both on land and under the waters of the lake. Bring polarizing filters to capture images of the underwater thermal features, as well as telephoto lenses for distant scenics and to catch the eagles which we hope to see on Frank Island.
